Rice Independent School District provides academic programs, interventions, and acceleration opportunities to meet the diverse needs of each student of the learning organization.  Special programs educators provide specialized instruction, resources, and supports to meet local, state, and federal requirements. 

Utilizing innovative and progressive service delivery models, students are provided with appropriate supports (accommodations /modifications) related to their identified program (s) and needs.  These programs include but are not limited to the following.

In addition to these programs, the district also utilizes a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS)/ Response to Intervention (RTI) to provide interim services and interventions to students while making the best determination of more intense programmatic needs.
